If there’s one thing that distinguishes us, it is the amazing design and flawless construction of our paver structures. No paver is the same, the same can be said about any patio or walkway, they are all different to one another because every property is unique.
Our landscaping crews are highly trained hardscape building experts. Whether you prefer the elegance of natural stone, or the practical beauty of concrete pavers, we will help you build your dream space, whether it is a paver driveway and with a walkway and stairs to the front door, or custom paver patio with fire pit and freestanding walls and a pergola built atop the patio for shade during the hot summer afternoons.
Sloped areas can benefit from the construction of retaining walls to provide more level areas for planting and recreation, as well as erosion and runoff control. Walls constructed within the landscape can also serve to give definition by outlining your property, add privacy to your property, or to add additional seating for guest through a sitting wall on a freestanding wall adjacent to your patio.
Rock gardens and dry riverbeds give a great visual interest and natural beauty to what could be otherwise a barren area. Rock gardens are also very useful in areas of landscape where the goal is to provide a very low maintenance area, another bonus is the ease of blowing out rock beds (compared to mulch beds) in the event of leaves or grass becoming present in the area.
Mulch installed in your landscape beds will not only give your property a crisp, clean, and manicured look, but it will also drastically reduce the amount of time spent weeding, watering and fighting pests. Mulching also helps with erosion control and keeps dirt from splashing up on your flowers, home, and hardscape features when it rains.
In newly constructed landscapes we recommend a minimum depth of 3-4″ to allow new plantings to retain adequate moisture, if your mulch just requires a freshening up, we generally install at a depth of 1″-2″. Get a quote today to inquire about the mulch type and color varieties we offer!
Landscape and Garden Border Edging
Edging is imperative for any landscape or garden bed. If edging is not used, there is no degree of separation between the material in the bed (rock or much) and the turf, which could cause problems in the future such as a stray rock getting caught by a mower blade and being accidentally thrown at a high rate of speed.
Plantings – Trees, Shrubs, Perennials and Annual Flowers
Trees not only provide shade for your house (allowing it to stay cooler in the summer) but also create great aesthetics. Bring together an assortment of evergreen and deciduous shrubs to splash in some color and you have the combination for an amazing looking landscape.
Our team will help you pick out plants that will thrive in tough your local climate. Our knowledgeable team will ensure the placement of each tree and shrub is in the proper location for its individual shade/sun requirements, soil moisture, and equally important – optimal color balance. At the completion of your project we provide you with information on how to care for them during the critical initial rooting period and continual maintenance and watering.
Is your yard in need of a “redo”? Are weeds overtaking the lawn? Are your landscape beds overwhelmed by weeds to the point where you are not able to see the rock or mulch that lay underneath? Shrubs are overgrown, trees have not been pruned in recent years? The lawn has more crabgrass than Kentucky bluegrass? The list goes on. Whatever the issue may be, it can make for a stressful situation regarding removing and replacing your outdoor space.
Are you experiencing soft, spongey spots in any area of your lawn or property after rain? Or is water seeping into your basement? You likely have drainage issues on your property. Drainage issues occur due to an improper grade in your lawn areas, or the landscaping surrounding the foundation of your house, office building, shed or other structure has no slope due to the soil settling over time. This also can occur on newly built homes if the soil around the foundation was not backfilled and compacted properly. Our team is incredibly well-versed in solving outdoor drainage problems, get a quote today and we will be in touch shortly to take a look at your property.
